1923 Rolland Pillain A22 Type B 2024-01-01

The beautiful car by Rolland Pillain was one of the nicest looking cars of the first races of 1923. But the first model was very heavy, which made it uncompetitive. Later in the season every effort was made to make it lighter, by using a much lighter frame. As much more experience with the engine was gained throughout the season, it was possible to squeeze out a few more horses out of it. Suddenly the 'B'-version of the car could keep up with the Fiats and the Sunbeams and the rivals of the Delage team.

Now it was up to the drivers to do their part...

All credits by @Nicecuppatea , who made those excellent 1923 cars (and kindly gave me the permission to upload this version). The tuned version was done because the car should be used in the races more to gain the recognition it deserves.
