downloaded the dev file folder and aiw cam editor... but where do i put the dev folder to make the editor respond and start?

I'm not sure, unfortunately. The original rFactor AIW CAM editor no longer works on Windows 10 and 11, so I've never been able to try it. It does still work on Linux systems through Wine, I've heard – unfortunately another thing I haven't yet been able to try myself.

When I've done AIW editing, I've used this tool, which works on Win10 and Win11:

guitarmaen AIW CAM Editor

This is the most recent version available (to my knowledge) of the very useful guitarmaen AIW editor for isiMotor games like F1 Challenge, rFactor 1, GTR 2, RACE 07, Game Stock Car, and Automobilista 1. An older version (4.05) is also available...

thanks, i have the guitarmen editor but i find the UI just terrible to work with. luckily i have an older desktop with garbage windows 7 so i might get that old editor to work somehow

doesnt work on windows 7 either. too bad, guess i have to do it the hard and long way
