Creating Your Own Pace Notes

Has anyone tried their hand at making custom pace notes for RBR? Can anyone point me to any how-to/instructional videos on how to do this? Obviously I'd need to record a collection of audio clips, as for getting them to work in-game with the pace notes plugin, I'm not quite sure how that would work...

I know there are some people on the Rallysimfans Discord that work on pacenotes, so that might be the place to look
