Introduction
Welcome back to the backbone of RaceDepartment.com. Touring car racing is what brought us all together a few years ago in beginning of 2007 for the ancestor of what now is known as RaceDepartment.com. The RPMnet.org WTCC Tournament 2007 was the first massive league we organised and is still considered as the most successful league ever by many that participated, due to the original format and the participation of over 100 drivers!
This season is going to be a bit different. With the experience of the former RDTCC seasons this will be the new format: 2 divisions, totalling 50 dedicated drivers. These drivers will compete for individual standings as well as team standings. Teams will consist of 2 drivers. There can be multiple teams with suffix of team 1, 2 etc. As there will be more sign-ups than spots available, we will evaluate sign-ups individually, based on the current dedication and status of the driver.
Prequalification:
"After finding yourself in the Sign up list"
To decide in which division you will start RD will run a prequalification day.
The server will be up and running with a specific track, and the car that has been assigned to you by the Race Director. (For more info about the car read the whole format.)
The top 25 qualifiers will start in division 1, and those placed 26-50 in division 2.
Qualification day date:18th and 19-Sept-2010. From 10:00gmt 18th sept. till 18:00gmt 19th sept.
Qualification track: Okoyama 2008.
