*CURRENTLY WORKING IN SINGLEPLAYER*

*ALSO DOESNT ALLOW PROFILE SAVING*
either way its an awesome mod for offline videos or drift vids. hope someone can find a way to work with multiplayer /save game or atleast just with friends for video capturing. either way enjoy making vids in single player.
Someone needs to make a client that bypasses this file check.
funny how you can modify the camera.xml but not the upgrades.xml (sarcasm)(youll understand when you look in the files)

CARS CURRENTLY INCLUDED
SUBARU BRZ
CAMARO Z28
MAZDA RX7
NISSAN R34 SKYLINE

INSTALL
simply use the file structure included to install into your own grid 2 directory, backup your existing upgrades.xml files before doing so.

Before you go play multiplayer, REVERT back to the original upgrades.xml and restart grid 2 or the game will kick you out of the lobby because the system checks this file.

OPTIONS TO ACHIEVE THIS
  • wheel offset
  • camber
  • ride height
I used a variety of settings for each car. Each has different wheel offsets, camber, and ride height to balance the cars stance front and rear. So to do this you have to set the fronts and rears seperately to your liking.
These are the settings that control the above.
Code:
<upgrade param="ride_height_adjust_front" value="-0.12" type="absolute" />
<upgrade param="ride_height_adjust_rear" value="-0.16" type="absolute" />
<upgrade param="additional_wheel_offset_front" value="0.03" type="absolute" />
<upgrade param="additional_wheel_offset_rear" value="0.04" type="absolute" />
<upgrade param="front_visual_camber" value="-0.19" type="absolute" />
<upgrade param="rear_visual_camber" value="-0.14" type="absolute" />
