so, I just use the db file, because there are three altogether in the MENU folder

Yes just the db file. The other files are backups that the hex editor automatically creates, I just forgot to delete them. Even if you put them in the mix file they won't do anything since the game doesn't look for them.

Small issue : when using Crutchlow's bike with a custom rider, his 35 number is visible under the player number (BIKE310.DDS).
