TM 588 Challenge rim LEDs on T818 base no workie. Help?

i recently upgraded my rig from TS-PC Racer and T3-PA, to T818 (base only) and the new TM LM pedal set. All works great (yuuuuuge !difference), Unfortunately, on my new T818 base, i can’t figure out how to get the LEDs to work on my 488 Challenge wheel that came with my TS-PC Racer base, (truth be told, I never got them to work on that base either as I never actually put much effort into figuring it out but now I am feeling motivated. To get everything dialed in).

My understanding (incorrect though it may be), is that they can (must?) be enabled by game in SimHub (I generally just race AI in AC), which I use for dashes and seat haptics. I thought I’d done everything right in SimHub for the LEDs, but no joy. Anyone here willing to help an old alter boy? I’m an old bastard so, explaining it to me like I’m five, much appreciated!

FWIW, the LEDs on the wheel DO flash on/off at wheel base startup.
