Sound issues

just installed this game today, got the patch, but now when i start up the game i lose all sound on windows and everything else. The problem starts when the starforce checking starts.

Is this a common bug or first?

I use creative sound blaster audigy 2 and windows vista.

hmm took off "run as administrator", then put it on again, all works fine.
