Recommended GTL tidy install tools?

I am busy modding my GTL with trusty notepad but was wondering if there are any mod tools I have missed (as my fingers beginning to ache!)

Is there a tool that can search and edit multiple *.car files for class at once?

What does everyone recommend to order your modded GTL install?

I use Notepadd++. Search for *.CAR in Windows Explorer in the GTL folder then select and drag them all to Notepad++. Then Search&Replace can operate on all files.

There might be better tools but it's a good enough place to start.
