RD Rally – WRC World Tour

PLEASE NOTE THAT RSRBR 2011, AND UPDATE 01, IS REQUIRED FOR THIS EVENT

A mix of Stages across all Countries – WRC 08 Cars – Ford Focus; Citroen C4; Subaru Impreza 08; Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 9; Suzuki SX4; Subaru Impreza S14.

All Drivers please note:

RSRBR2011 Update 02 has been released. It apparently includes an update to the physics of the Ford Focus 08, which some will be driving. I have no idea what the changes are though.

I think you can run this rally without the Update, but I'd strongly recommend all drivers to install the Update before starting the rally.

Our second Rally for 2011 is open for sign-up.

After the huge and enthusiastic turnout for our last rally, we look forward to another big group. For this Rally, we step up the power and difficulty quite a bit, and tackle the WRC cars on a wide variety of Countries, Surfaces, and Weather conditions. This Rally has it all, and should prove to be quite a test for most drivers.

We also wanted to give all of the newer drivers, who are planning to join our RDRC S2, a chance to try out the WRC 08 cars to help them decide which Class they may feel more comfortable in running.
It may also serve as a shakedown for the experienced WRC guys before the RDRC gets under way.

These WRC cars will require much more delicate control and patience, compared to the S2000 cars we used last time. Just remember, over aggressive driving beyond your limits can be dangerous in these cars, especially on some of these Stages. The grip levels will vary a lot in this Rally, so it will test driver’s ability to adapt quickly. The weather variations will also add a new level of challenge.

Good luck all, drive carefully, and hope we see a good roll up. :rally:
