It was a big concern to me when iRacing was announced that pings would be an issue. I was pleasantly surprised by iRacing and its ability to handle latency.

I cant hardly wait to test the physics on this, compared to Lotus79 wich im racing with for the moment.
Yeah hope we get some f1 track. I would like to see Spa ,Istanbul etc :drool:

I'll try and make it into some races tonight. I still need a lot more practice with this combo, So many fast blind turns you really need to know the line and nail it to keep it on track.

I just tried it a few hours ago. It's great indeed!!!! Did a few laps (like 20 or so) and got 1:05.7. I know I'm way off pace, but I also know I need to work harder, because this beast isn't a Mazda...

I'm thinking about racing the last race of the week. Anyone else wants to meet me there???? Gonna practice from tomorrow until then...

Naaah,

Skippy and Mazda are formula cars but if you call them F1, then my granny's Fiat 500 goes as an Enzo as well.
And the Lotus.... how old is it again?? 31 years! Far away from any recent F1...

I had that weird downshift feeling too as I drive also a car with the same engine in real life. I will test it in my car soon, let's see if it downshifts above 3000 rpm. After i got used to the car I started to like it more and more.
