@Lesley Buurlage did your Steam account get hacked, or did you start scamming people yourself?
nope, i did indeed get hacked. and somehow they managed to bypass 2FA
revoked all access from devices, changed password and doubled down on the 2FA cause i'm baffled on how they managed to do it

funniest thing is, you can't delete steam chat massages, so everyone i don't have direct contact with i have to message them again instead of just deleting the scam massages
Or they got your session id from your pc, because you where logged in, and you downloaded some malware

tbh if you get technical about cyber security it can be a million different reasons, most of them being human factor
safest is to have a lot of characters in your password so they can't be decoded easily (<8 letters is almost instant)
12+ letters if you have both upper and lower case takes a couple of years (growing exponentially)
Don't forget you can add some other characters like ! $ *
But yeah...getting around 2FA seems fishy, like they had access to something else like your email or your phone.
Maybe I'll just open a thread on the weekend and see how signups go, if numbers are too low I assume you could delete it again with your modpowers @Jimlaad43 ?
