CSP's new AI behvior, and AI rubberbanding

I'm wondering if anyone has tried out the AI rubberbanding feature in CSP's AI behavior.

I like racing offline against AI. I've always wondered if a little AI rubberbanding effect could make that a bit more fun.

So far, i've tried it out (not much yet though) and I get the impression that it's effectively making the AI a bit easier to race against than it would usually.

Does anyone here have any more/better insights to offer on how it works? Is there a better way to set up the options?

I've used it for racing and noted that the cars you overtake stay a bit closer rather than completely dropping off like before. There's still usually a run away leader but you have more chance to catch them. You can also adjust the rubber banding amount a bit. I quite like it.
