Cammus Launches Load Cell LC100 Sim Racing Pedals

The Chinese manufacturer expands its sim racing range even further, with pedals now available alongside direct drive wheel bases.

Cammus’ first set of load cell-equipped sim racing pedals has been launched, the LC100.

Following the recent C12 wheel base, which innovatively inserts a direct drive motor into a steering wheel with some mixed results, the LC100 look to be more traditional in design.

There is a load cell brake capable of 100kg of force (or ‘gravity’ as Cammus describes it), with hall effect sensors used for the throttle and clutch pedals. The pedal arms are made from steel and elements such as spring preload and strength can be adjusted.

The LC100 comes as a three-pedal set, with the base plat allowing for adjustable spacing between each.

The pedals can be set up using Cammus’ PC software, although presently this seems to be fairly rudimentary compared to other applications by rival brands.

The set is priced at $359, although there is 33 per cent off presently reducing that to $259. There is also the option of placing a $59 pre-order deposit and then paying the remaining $200 later. All prices exclude local taxes.

These pedals have been previously launched, but now the LC100s are available, according to Cammus, 'globally'.

I thought these had been available for some time now. I almost purchased them about two months ago and saw nothing about pre-order while going thru the process.

I also know of a couple people who have purchased them already. Perhaps its different in different parts of the world?

I would have assumed Overtake would respond to my first comment here but I guess not?

Based in Europe, we received a set under an embargo until Cammus went 'live' with its videos/promotion so all I can say is we waited for that to happen and then wrote the news story - perhaps you are correct, maybe it is different for different regions.

Adding that the Cammus web store lists them as 'Pre-order New arrival', this is now rather confusing. We shall try to contact Cammus to see if there are any spec changes/updates. Apologies for any confusion.

To follow up on this @Michael Krone - Cammus replied this morning clarifying that this is indeed now a new launch, with the product available to ship 'globally'. Thank you for your feedback, a big help, I've added an extra line to the article explaining the global launch too.

Like em? Any experience with other pedal sets you can compare them to?
I like them, just be aware they don't fit on a lot of sim rigs and I had to drill some holes to make it work. You have to fiddle with them a lot to get them to your preference but I like how customizable they are. The wires connecting them are very fragile so I had to get some extras as replacements. Overall for their price and what you get I think they're great.
