The Chinese manufacturer expands its sim racing range even further, with pedals now available alongside direct drive wheel bases.
Cammus’ first set of load cell-equipped sim racing pedals has been launched, the LC100.
Following the recent C12 wheel base, which innovatively inserts a direct drive motor into a steering wheel with some mixed results, the LC100 look to be more traditional in design.
There is a load cell brake capable of 100kg of force (or ‘gravity’ as Cammus describes it), with hall effect sensors used for the throttle and clutch pedals. The pedal arms are made from steel and elements such as spring preload and strength can be adjusted.
The LC100 comes as a three-pedal set, with the base plat allowing for adjustable spacing between each.
The pedals can be set up using Cammus’ PC software, although presently this seems to be fairly rudimentary compared to other applications by rival brands.
The set is priced at $359, although there is 33 per cent off presently reducing that to $259. There is also the option of placing a $59 pre-order deposit and then paying the remaining $200 later. All prices exclude local taxes.
