Russian company BR Engineering presented a new racing sport prototype BRO3, the presentation of which was held on the 18th of May in Moscow.
The car was developed by a Russian team consisting of 100% Russian technical specialists.
SMP Racing program drivers who have extensive and successful experience not only in endurance racing but also in working with the world's best engineers and mechanics also took part in the development.
BR03 is designed specifically for endurance races in Russia.
The technical base of the sports prototype is mixed. The transmission is of foreign production since no equivalent in Russia would be suitable for the task. However, almost all other components and joints were manufactured in Russia.
The car is certified by the RAF (Russian Automotive Federation) to perform in national competitions in Russia.
All BR03 cars will be delivered to customers with all the necessary documents that allow them to participate in the races.
We are happy to announce a new version of the BR03 mod. The Russian sportcar itself changes a lot since 2024, and its virtual copy now provides more accurate details of both image and technical features.
List of revision includes (2021 and 2024 versions):
- improved visual details
- the physics of the car's behavior has been completely revised based on real data
- new front and rear suspension geometry
- mass and center of gravity are both corrected
- the position of the fuel tank has been changed, its capacity has been corrected
- redesigned aerodynamics of the car
- new engine mapping, including Idle speed and cut-off point
- the car setup window has been revised
The work on the model will continue: new the steering wheel, cockpit details and the improved roof over the driver are to appear in the near future.
Worth to note, the BR03 in its previous 2021 specification will remain as an independent model - it also received some updates recently and is still available for download.
