Haha, you are not alone with the pit stop woes ;) I only do pit stops on the occasional race in ACC and also screw it up. I need to practice it too.. I do like the fact that it is more realistic than in other sims but you need to learn to do it properly. Much to improve on there.

As for other screw-ups, I managed to under fuel for both my last qualifying lap and for the race. I calculated for 5 race laps right before the race start and ran out of fuel halfway through the last lap :(

I had fun driving and I also had a bit more pace. The more I drive ACC the more I get a feel for the sim. I have been tweaking my steering settings since last race. I had waaay too much dampening, it does feel better now. But still working on it. Are there Simucube owners here ? I have a Simucube 1 but would be interested to hear what settings to use for it.

I'll try to make some more races in the future.

I'm using the Asetek LaPrima Base and I had the same issues with damping. I have turned damping ingame and in the wheel base settings all the way down (except dynamic damping, which I left at 25%). The feel in the wheel is much better, more detailed, not LMU levels of detail, but still an improvement

It's funny you mention that, I did the same thing when I came back to ACC after driving in LMU for a few weeks. The steering felt heavy and difficult, lowered the dampers down in game and in the fanatec software and feels way better now.

Ah man, no idea how that can happen. Did you have a pit stop strategy set in game? If you can take a screenshot of your setup with the strategy maybe we can spot something?
Well after some experimenting I found out that it was most likely indeed turning on the engine again. There is small window between turning the engine off and the pit crew starting to change tyres (when the car is moved into place when not hitting the spot perfectly). I started the engine in that moment which prevents the pit crew from starting. Turning the engine of again would solve that but I drove out of the pits which is possible in that state. Now I know what not to do.

ah ok, if it helps here is what I usually do.

If I nail the pit box I flick the ignition off which kills everything, jacks go up and they start work. As soon as the jacks are up I flick the ignition back on then when the countdown reaches 1 I hold the starter.
