Multiplayer - GT Legends - setting up direct private connections

Hello everyone,

I would like to be able to link some remote machines running GT Legends on a private direct link over the internet (rather than using someone else's race server)

Please could someone tell me/point me to a guide that explains how to set up the host and where to input the host global ip address on the client machine so the host is visible?

I have tried a couple of combos but no luck - I see mention of iplobby.txt. Do I need to edit?

Also a list of the ports that need forwarding would be great!!!

Any helps would be much appreciated?

Rob

I have been reading further but not found answer....
Is a private host with one remote client possible?
Can dedicated server be used to set up your own host without linking to the "GT Lobby"?
Does Local_ip_lobby.txt specifiy the hostserver IP?
I just can find any online guides on how to achieve this?

If someone knows if this is or isn't possible then it would be a start!

Resolved! Posted in case anyone else gets here...
1) change local_ip_lobby.tx to local_ip_lobby.txt.old
2) add port forwards in your router as per GTL_Server_Hosting.TXT in GTL's support directory. Default is to forward 34347 as TCP, 34297 & 34298 as UDP.
3) Host = multiplayer-->lan/ip-->select race details and start
4) Clients= multiplayer-->lan/ip-->add ip-->insert host's global ip--> no user/no pass --> press arrow and NOT register --> let lobby seacrh and join host's game.
