F1 2011 Windows 8

I tried to install F1 2011 on my pc, but it does not sem to like Windows 8. Is there a work around?

I bought F1 2010 from Steam a couple of weeks ago and had problems starting it under Windows 8. From memory - Run the executable as Administrator and it will pop up an error message saying why it can't run. I think I had to get and install the latest versions of DX9 and Games for Windows Live. I know you're on 2011 - but the problem sounds the same so, hopefully, the solution will be the same.

To start the game perfect you have to go to properties and compatibility, and set it in Windows 7

I use windows 10 and its run perfectly normal, maybe its the windows live dll are not installed properly.
