Problem at pitstops

I’ve had a problem pop up regularly when making pitstops in races

I come into the pits, stop at my box and the pit screen comes up which I confirm refuelling, tyres & any damage fixes, press enter and the refueller puts the hose in and……nothing else happens, he just keeps refuelling for ages. The race keeps going, I can turn the wheels on the car, the mechanics are swaying with their rattle guns etc… so it hasn’t frozen, just the refuelling never stops. I have to quit the race to get out of the screen .

Has this ever happen to anyone else? Does anyone know a way to fix it?

Working from memory, I think you must turn off the engine or you won't refuel.
