AMC cars into SCE???

Hi guys and girls, I'm hoping someone can help.
I recently purchased AMC. While the game is fantastic, my poor old laptop struggles to run it very well. So until I get myself a new laptop/PC I will run back to the old faithful SCE.
My question is, can you put the new copa Renault and Civic into SCE? I have tried to transfer across but nothing comes up. Is it due to the .MAS file being hidden and therefore unable to change?
This might seem like a weird question but I purchased AMC mainly for the Copa series and due to the fact my laptop is from the 1970's I can really only run SCE for the moment and hope to get a compromise out of my situation.

Play SCE using a 1970's laptop ?? Very suprising cause i believe laptop at that time not even has 1GB RAM .. i might be wrong anyway

There were no laptops in the 1970's. Nor 80's nor 90's. Well maybe late 90's at a push.
