Pros: Licensed F1 manager, F1 graphics, Actual race engineers, graphics.
Cons: Crashes, Pitlane in quali/practice, steering wheels, Crofty, fast forward.
F1 manager 22 is a good game but there is a lot of room for improvement. So the good things; its great to have an actual engineer not jeff or marc who have had the same voice lines since 2014. The fact that its all licensed and not just Motorsport manager with mods is also great. For the most part graphics are pretty solid as well. Now the bad, the crashes are so not legit its just funny also the way the AI drives could use some improvement but IMO its not that big of a deal. Some small things like steering wheels not being representative of the real cars and when in quali/practice the cars just pull into the garage like its a house garage. Also just a quality of life change I would like to see is a way to shorten the races or just fast forward faster. Now onto the thing I think is worst, Crofty. Crofty's voice lines are executed very poorly it just sounds so bad. Karun Chandock is in the game and he does a great job compared to Crofty IMO. So F1 manager gets a 4/5 from me but it definitely has room for improvement.
Pros: Good Race Engineer Voices.
Beautiful Graphics.
Realistic Sounds.
Small Download Space Required.
Amazing Track Details.
Good Driver Models.
Good UI Overall.
Up-To Date F1 2022 Graphics.
Good Hybrid And DRS.
Good Management For The Drivers.
Many Things Your Able To Do.
Cons: Bad AI Driving And Overtaking.
Semi Unrealistic Crashes
Tires sometimes not appearing in a double stack
Cant Escape DRS Trains.
Developing A Car Is Very Hard.
Not Identical Helmet Model.
There Are A lot Of Pros That are just amazing so far considering it was released fully today, its still in semi-development that's why the cars aren't 100% identical to the real life ones, (e.g Alfa Romeo) Which isn't a Must More of a Small Detail, As well as the drivers still having their gloves on all the time, some other small details like the steering wheel and the shifting being a weird as well, but other than that its so far one of the best and is amazing compared to F1 22.
Pros: +Controller (my simucube is working right off the bat, almost...)
+All the stages from the previous WRC games
+Nice content from the previous era (206, xSara...)
+Finally they got the WCC right (somehow)
Cons: -Controller : My wheel is not recognized by the game, and make the game goes crazy and stuck to the top left, when it is.
Also Car won't move unless you apply 80% pressure in first gear...
-AI : need to dial it yourself, and still some stage are ridiclously completely off. Portugal, Sardegna, Spain, you can have a nice fight against the AI and then take them 20 sec. on the special stage.
-UI : Can't drive a single rally, nor a single stage against the AI. Also can't make your own rally/champ with all the rallies they add.
Big disappointment in the end. For a swansong from KT, that seems like a missed opportunity. They had some much to offer with everything they made so far, but still, they end with those choices.
Why no more customisations ? Let's us do our own rallies, our own champ, for F sake.
Now, the license goes to Codies/EA, and my hopes are even lower since that buyout...

The road is open for KT with V-Rally 5, now (4 was actually pretty enjoyable). I'm hoping the best for them.

Pros: - Rally environments do look good
- Number of Rally environments is impressive
- Lets you drive through the WRC ladder WRC-3/WRC-2/WRC
- Career mode is engaging (if you're into that)
Cons: - Car sounds
- Vehicle handling not the best for 2022
- Older recycled content looks dated
I have tried previous WRC titles, but this is the first one I have really played through career mode. I've put a lot of time into DR2 (also a lot of time into RBR but not for many years). I much prefer the vehicle handling in DR2, the cars feel like the have real weight in the handling and they behave much better when light or over jumps. Car sounds in WRC Generations are also terrible when compared to most contemporary driving games, really don't know how they are so dull and lifeless.

Vehicle models are good, although some of the classics do look slightly basic for 2022. There's a huge variety of rally environments and they don't feel like recycled stages with different textures, they do all feel unique. Some of the older returning envirments do feel a little outdated, but they do add more variety over all so it's a good addition.

I have found career mode fun to go through, it's not a slog and can be tailored to how you want to play eg. rally lengths/difficulty level.

Good overall game, but not a rally leader by any means.
(All played on controller)

Pros: Overall, it's fun, similar to how Forza horizon 5 is fun and forgiving.
Good content
Good sounds
Looks good, after you have raced a stage once, I've found the stuttering to be less and performance to slightly improve.
Good career mode with many other race modes to keep you busy.
Luckily, there is a profile for Thrustmaster TX along with a TM Sparco rally rim profile, so that helps navigate the menus better.
Builder mode, looks interesting.
Cons: Performance issues
Graphical bugs
Menus and setting up your rig is a bit confusing
AI is not very competitive under 80% difficulty
FFB...tarmac hardly feels any better than Dirt 2.0 just the rear feels slightly better connected.
Physics...I am mixed, I thought Dirt 2.0 was pretty bad. WRC has improved the ridiculous floaty rear that felt weightless from Dirt 2. It feels better, but with no aids on I feel the grip is insane which makes you feel like a rally god...which I am not lol
So maybe that is a pro?

I'll revisit my review if EA/Codies tackle the current bugs and continue to improve aspects before jumping to WRC 24
Too many issues ATM, but has the base there to turn it into a good title.

I think EA and Codemasters have delivered exactly what they promised in advance. The price is fair and the content is extensive. Anyone who expected sophisticated new driving physics is simply naive. Codemasters is the epitome of Simcade titles (see also the F1 series). And that's just the way it is. The only thing that bothers me about the game is the lack of FPS. The ratio between appearance and performance just doesn't fit. For example, there are too few trees and yet no FPS. In a racing game, I expect at least 120hz with WQHD. I have a i7 and a 3080ti and need DLSS (balanced) and GFX settings med to high (forget about Ultra) to run it smoothly.
That is simply a joke.

Pros: Beautifully detailed environments
Great soundscape for what is included
Excellent dash cam view
No stage racing
Promising experience for the future
Pleasant spotter after the fixes
Cons: Unstable application
Missing tire sounds
Cars clumping at many tracks
Consistently problematic AI and scoring
Missing, incomplete or broken core features
This game is held together with bubblegum and dollar store glue, but I'm still enjoying it somewhat.
I'm playing a cut-down version of the game so far, with an Xbox One controller and moderate assists, maximum visual quality except for the post-processing noise to avoid blurring, no wear, no rules and penalties, races of 15% length. I can't imagine what it would be like to try to play this game as a serious role-playing driver experience.
I've rarely been able to complete two races without having the game crash, mostly while using Alt+Tab. The transitions between phases of play are uncertain or tedious at best, with the control of the car being relinquished to the driver at different moments, at different speeds, different gears, and sometimes face-planting into the wall.
Basically, every event that I play consists of 10 minutes of practice, qualifying, and then the 15% race. This creates smaller bites of the game to rediscover the tracks and the feel of NASCAR after skipping the two previous game platforms for the series.
The Charlotte Roval still sees the AI using the wrong line, and the spotter calls cars going the other way on the other side of the wall, and just like Indy Road Course, the qualifying position is not used for the starting position during the race. Very fun race going through the field to finish in the top 20.
The field at Michigan was spreading in various groups until I decided to pit by myself under green. The skip to pit transition seems to have grouped all the cars back together as if there had been a yellow flag when I got out of the pits. I assume the yellow flags were disabled by my options, but it's not clear anywhere.
The racing at Dover was very fun, lots of side-by-side action, with slow passing taking several laps, some odd pack racing.
The Indy Road Course has completely busted AI with an incredibly slow start, bad pace, and the qualifying not being applied, for an awful experience.
I gave up on Martinsville after not finding a way to adjust the gearing. I can't stand hitting the rev limiter twice a lap, it feels awful.
The pitting is different depending on the track and session, so sometimes you can drive down pit lane, sometimes it makes you stop right after the line and you respawn there after the pit stop, same with taking control of the car. The car setup is a simple slider between tight and loose, which works well enough for using a controller, but the in-race pit menu includes several adjustments, so who knows what's going on there...
This is the most fun I've had with a NASCAR game in a long time, and I'm confident that the extra year leading to N22 Reignited is what the game needed all along, so don't give up hope for the future. As it is, N21 is simply too broken to recommend buying to anyone, but the experience that I describe might just be enough for an eventual sale, especially if more fixes are brought to 21 during the development of 22.
Pros: - the game captures the GT games spirit with a modern style

-solid graphics improvement from gt sport, especially with the increase of the amount of detail on-screen on the PS5

- remake of old tracks that we loved from older GT games.

-car and track accuracy, probably the best in the industry

- solid soundtrack and audio design, nothing crazy though. ACC is still on top
Cons: - the rear is really trigger happy even on notoriously rear friendly cars IRL. so on controller if you have a rwd car or if you are driving in wet conditions it's really hard to drive even with TC ON.

- too much-recycled content from gt sport.

- career mode really bland, no incentive to keep going.
the game in general feels like a gt sport remaster with campaign DLC. I found myself bored with the repetition of the same tracks and cars from gt sport. stopped playing within 10 hours of gameplay.

Cons: It's a simcade , not a "dirt rally 3"
It's a simcade , not a "dirt rally 3"
D
Pros: Sounds, physical, innovative parts installation... Only eight bikes, but well simulated.
Cons: At the moment, none. Good performance with 6800 XT and 5800 X.
My review
Pros: - the cars are well detailed...
- Driving is okay for a sim-arcade game
- It's nice for a guy who doesn't have a steering wheel
Cons: - Micro transactions! The scandal of this video game! Anti sports on the live, shameful!
- Driving is worthless compared to Assetto, ACC, AMS2, IRacing, rFactor2, even PC2 is better on computers.
- At the controller it's not as good as Forza Motorsport 7! And the live sucks compared to Forza. Soon Forza 8, right? A better arcade sim for consolers, but playable for computer fun.
- AI sucks, just like before! Innuendo that it could be corrected by a new revolutionary AI, but only promises, in the meantime people are paying and waiting, for a very long time in my opinion.
- "the real driving simulator" hahaha!
- Buying an expensive console steering wheel is great, but when there's a new console coming out, do we throw the steering wheel away?
- No VR planned, all good PC simulations are playable in VR, sometimes not at the top, it's true, but sometimes it's magic... like on AMS2 :-) which is so much, magically better than it is said "driving simulator"
In short, I don't like this game at all, especially because there are the micro-transactions that I find extraordinarily shameful and discriminatory for live races. That's my opinion.
The progress is extremely disappointing compared to what was promised.
Incredible that after so many years GT7 is still so close to GT1, I can't understand the enthusiasm of the fans (fan who comes from fanaticism)?

Pros: I get a good basic impression of the game when readin the review. Nearly enough to base my buy or not buy decision on it.
Cons: I would really like more screenshots from the game. Talking about the graphics without examples from the game gives only half of the benefit.
Overall a good but not great review. I would have liked to see more screenshots (vehicle categories, graphic comparison). Else than that I would have hoped for more details on the hardware recognition problem.

I know it's not a simulation when I have to learn how to drive a car, which is not the case in assetto corsa, rfactor 2, rbr
the behavior of the car on the asphalt is funny, especially the front-wheel drive
the driving feeling is simply not natural

Pros: Graphics look great
Sound is good
Telemetry is available
As of 11/17/21 Wheels and related peripherals finally work. I am using an Accuforce Pro V2 wheel, Fanatec CSP V3 pedals, Fanatec Handbrake, Thrustmaster TH8a shifter, and Next Level Racing Motion Platform V3. The combination is outstanding.
Cons: Couldn't play premium edition from 11/5 to 11/17 due to Controller disconnected/Please reconnect issue.
Updated: Controller disconnected. Please reconnect issue solved with 11/17 FH5 Patch.
No VR: I think the developer could make up for the lack of wheel support and other miscellaneous PC bugs by adding VR in, the same way they did it with MSFS.
Now that the title with increased wheel support actually supports wheels on a PC, I have upgraded the review score to 4 stars. I am now positive I will spend hundreds of hours in this game.

Pros: Great graphics
Audio is pretty good
Good physics
Really gives the whole Nascar vibe and atmosphere.
Great communication and support by the devs uptil now.
Cons: Quite a few bugs.
Cannot assign buttons
No borderless windowed option
Irregular ffb
No triple screen support
Started playing this since the 2nd update on steam, played it for about 4 hours total, overall enjoyed it, yeah there are bugs in it, but i certainly see a lot of potential, it drives already pretty decent, would like a bit more setup options, and triple screen support is a must these days.
To me the audio is great.

I like the whole nascar experience, the pitstop cutscenes are awesome.

One big positive for me is that the devs recognize there are a lot of issues, and already released 2 massive patches for it, with a 3rd one confirmed to be worked on.
They are actually listening to the community, which not all company's do these days.

People need to give them some credit and patience, it is their first attempt, and i advise anyone to report as much bugs as you can on their support page, everyone can benefit from that.

Overall already quite enjoyable, and it has a lot more potential, you just got to look past the obvious bugs.
Pros: Lincesed for F1, F2, F3
Graphics
Management in race, practice and qualy
Cons: One stop strategy is OP
No tyre difference
DRS train
Driver contract happens instantly
Bad AI Driving
Blue flags doesn't work properly
This game have a lot of potential but it need more improvements to be a great game.

Pros: Could be good with VR
Cons: But it doesn't have VR
What are they thinking? And why is this (most important) subject not mentioned in the review here?! Absolutely insane.
Pros: without VR, no Pros
Cons: No VR support....... I´m out
In 2022/2023 and no VR? shame.....
