I noticed something strange. Maybe a bug.
As you see it used to show my name, but now it just displays 'USER'

No. I still says 'User' not RinusDirtRally in the banner. I think its a bug. Everything else works fine, tho. Only seeing 'User' instead of my name is weird.

We can also change it into MyRD, User CP or something similar. For folks with a long name it will cause the navbar to become all funny. Hence we chose a more generic "user"

LOL yes it's entirely bonkers. Maybe they're gonna change the name soon cos I think I'll have to stop using it if the major version number is into 3 digits

Was thinking, for privacy reasons it would be nice to hide the username (and the avatar maybe)
Some like to surf with their laptop/tablet in public, but want to keep things private.
