Yes, the Tool detects cars based on number gears, min rpm and max rpm. Most likely if there are a lot of similar cars, these do overlap, like there is already overlap on many cars in Dirt Rally 2. If you want, you could also create separate list of the cars. You can see the Dirt Rally 2 cars in the 'dirt_rally_20_cars.csv' file.

Each line is like
1,4,838,7330,"H1 FWD","Mini","Cooper S"
1 is the car id
4 is number of gears
838 is min rpm
7330 is max rpm
"H1 FWD" is the car class
"Mini" is car manufacturer
"Cooper S" is the car model

If you do this, then I could create separate launchers and stuff for the Grid 2.

small problem, im on 4th car and they already overlap, also all grid 2 cars has same min rpms, would be there any diffrent way to detect them or extra info?

Sadly on the old Telemetry format of Codemaster (in F1 2011 - F1 2016, Dirt Rally's, Grids) etc., there is no id for the track or for the car, so the only way to detect a track is with the tracklength data and for cars/teams the Min RPMS, Max PRMS and Gear. With F1 games until F1 2017 e.g. there was no way to detect individual modern F1 cars even with those.

If all cars have the same Min RPMS and the other data also does not differ, then there is no way to detect the cars and having to manually select a car/team will never work with many users. So one (and maybe only) option is to just set the car name the grid2_car or something like that, unless there is way to detect a group of cars with the gear + max RPM.

i did create a list of cars, theres still like 40 combinations of gearbox and engine specs so it took a while, also im not sure i devided them correctly on per car basis

shoudl i use dirt 2 mode still for grid 2?(grid 2 button gone) also im not sure if you saw it but i send you while ago the grid 2 data, what i found on beta version, sorry it took me while but i was busy throu entire summer

Easiest way is to make copy of e.g. the runWin_AC.bat to runWin_Grid2.bat and change the line running the software to
start bin\win\bin\javaw.exe -Dsun.jnu.encoding=UTF-8 -Dfile.encoding=UTF-8 -jar Telemetry.jar --game=Grid2
i.e. change the --game=AC to --game=Grid2
Then you can start the Tool in the Grid2 mode with the new .bat file.
