F1 2019 Save game mid session?

Hi i'm looking into buying f12019.
Since i like 100% full races and have limited time to race it at once (family, work) i would like to save the game during the race. And load it at a later moment and continue (so same position, lap, pit strategy, tyre wear etc).

Does f1 2019 offer this option?

Yes. When you are in the race, just press ESC . You can save the game there....

Yes. You only need to pause to the menu when you are in the middle of the race. Mid Session Save is one of the options.
