GT5 GT5 Time Trials Archive

The question of who the fastest drivers are in the GT5 community is soon to be answered! There's no opposition and no excuses here. It's just you and your machine versus the track.

The time trials will be open to all RaceDepartment members, both licensed and unlicensed. The only requirement to take part is that you own a copy of GT5 and abide by the specific restrictions imposed by the TT. Events will run on a variety of tracks but will make use of GT5's borrow feature to ensure that everyone uses the exact same car with the exact same upgrades. The cars will be supplied by yours truly.

The prize given to the winner will vary but may include items such as cars, helmets, suits and paints, or the choice of car/track for a Club racing event. And of course, you'll win the respect of your fellow drivers.

Above you can see a little hint of the car and track that will be used for the first TT event. Stay tuned!

As I said above, it is impossible to buy new parts for borrowed cars. The only thing you needed to check, which you have already done at least twice, is the tyres. I believed you the first time, so please ignore further requests to check your settings from others. There is no need to submit a replay unless you win the TT.

Please people, debate over. Let's worry about our own laps rather than other people's, shall we?

Spent an hour on it and managed a 1:46.164. Simply don't have the skill or ability to go faster with a pad.

Anyone else on a pad btw?

After first session I managed 1:45.345

Did a 1:42.883 i think not sure about last 2 digits there, i have another .4 in me i think but that's it unless I find that the setup can be made to be grippier. Well done Karl.

I know it won't get in the top 10 but the best I can do is 1:53.362. I find this really hard. It's the 2 big braking points I get wrong. It's still fun trying though. The one thing I do like is watching the replay, the GT40 looks good around this track.

My last check was yesterday and there were no outstanding requests, so either you've sent it to the wrong person or you are mistaken about the time that has passed.
