Round Results & Standings

What a thrilling start to the 2014 FSR Fantasy League, with the top-7 separated by just a single point! Danny van der Niet, from the Netherlands, has taken his maiden FSR Fantasy League round victory with his Toofast racing team, composed by race-winner Martin Gosbee, Rob van Starkenburg, Ivar Kalamees and Matt Sentell. He scored 79 points, although he wasn't the only one. With a similar team, British manager Jonathan Holmes also scored 79 points and was tied on team cost too, but scoring less Team A points cost him the round victory after the second tie-breaker criterion was applied! Jim Parisis, from Greece, was 3rd with 78 points on his FSR Fantasy League debut. Fernando Guerrero, Adrian Rush, Marcel van der Linden and Milan Radivojevic also scored 78 points but missed out on the podium due to the tie-breaker criteria.

With only one round contested, Danny van der Niet is obviously at the top of the standings with 79 points, in what will be a very tight battle for the Thrustmaster Y-250C Gaming Headset the champion will win. Danny is also the first contender for another Thrustmaster Y-250C Gaming Headset that will be drawn among all round winners at the end of the season.

Driver Results

With a perfect strategic drive and claiming his maiden FSR World Championship victory, Martin Gosbee became the round's top scorer with 35 points. Poleman and 3rd-place finisher Morgan Morand was right behind with 34 points, while 2nd-place driver Bono Huis scored 32 points. Six drivers went into the negative side of the scale thanks to post-race penalties!

Drivers' market costs were updated. Ville Leppala (+1100$), Martin Gosbee (+700$), Patrick De Wit (+600$) and Matt Sentell (+600$) were the drivers who climbed the costs ladder the most after the results from both China and San Marino were added. Remember that the drivers that you already have on your team will continue to cost you what they did when you included them on your lineup.
